Chocolate Sauce: A Raw Food Recipe

There are many health benefits of eating raw chocolate. Qualities of raw chocolate: Magnesium, Chromium, Iron. When cacao is not roasted, its medicinal qualities can leverage our health. When most of us think of eating chocolate, we're busy calculating how long it will take to burn off the calories, heal the acne, or relieve the bloating. Then there are those of us who purposefully do not think while we just indulge, as if it is a naughty word. I offer you this simple and medicinal recipe. Seduction: Mia's famous raw chocolate sauce

Ingredients

1 Cup Agave nectar (Ultimate brand, clear)

¾ Cup raw Cacao powder

1 Tablespoon Coconut oil

1 teaspoon Vanilla flavoring (non-alcohol)


Preparation

  • Place all ingredients into a blender (Agave nectar first- so powder doesn't get caught under blades) and blend until creamy smooth **alternatively, place all ingredients into a glass jar and stir firmly with a spoon or fork until desired creaminess. This may take a few minutes and will assist in defining your arm muscles.

  • Pour out into decorative glass jar, affix lid, and attach your homemade label and give it to a friend.Will last un-refrigerated over two months (if you didn't eat it!)

  • Use in your favorite beverage, over fruit, frozen treats, or by the spoonful directly into your mouth.
